Are you new to the Tooth Fairy Business? Losing a tooth is one of those sort-of-scary-but-exciting times your child will never forget! The basic Tooth Fairy tradition involves a child leaving a tooth under their pillow at bedtime so the Tooth Fairy can visit during the night and take the tooth, leaving money under the pillow in exchange.

The amount of money the Tooth Fairy pays per tooth is entirely up to you as the Tooth Fairy.Tooth Fairies should keep in mind that children will lose 20 baby teeth in their lifetime (so you may not want to set the bar high by leaving a $20 bill the first time your child loses a tooth). Most parents agree that $1 per tooth is a fair exchange rate that keeps parents (ahem, I mean Tooth Fairies) and kids happy without breaking the bank.

Baby teeth are tiny and easy to lose…sometimes even before they have the chance to make it under your child’s pillow. And even Tooth Fairies can have a hard time feeling around in the dark, trying to locate the tooth under the pillow without waking the child. That’s why a Tooth Fairy Pillow or Tooth Fairy Box can come in handy! Your child puts their tooth inside a small pillow or box, which makes it is a lot easier for the Tooth Fairy to find it.

Check out the Tooth Fairy Crafts and Printables featured below. They include free DIY craft tutorials and printables that will help you make a visit from the Tooth Fairy an extra special childhood memory for your child. Visit the links listed under the pictures for more information.

What a cute items to get for the Tooth Fairy when it comes. To put the teeth in a pillow box makes the child feel special. I wish they had something like this when my son was smaller. I should look into it for my niece, she would love this.

I love crafting tooth fairy pillows! I wouldn’t give more than a dollar, or enough coins to add up to a dollar- let them learn to value a dollar!!!

I have been looking for a way to present the Tooth Fairy in a good light and have a place to put the teeth as well. Funny, I went until she graduated college to give her precious baby teeth back. I kept them in my jewelry box, I guess they were like jewels to me. LOL I love all these Ideas and got them all in one place. Thank You Thank You, Thank You. No more looking for me, just gotta figure out the best one for my Granddaughter.
